Project Objectives
ELECOS Objectives
The overarching focus of the project is the electric control of spin for molecule-based quantum technologies. More specific objectives are:
- Improve the current E-field control in magnetic resonances by combining electric-field modulated and pulsed EPR spectroscopies on a wide range of frequencies
- Disentangle spin-electric effects originated by magnetic anisotropy and spin-orbit coupling from those connected to exchange coupling
- Rationalize the spin-electric coupling at the quantum mechanical level and establish a rational chemical design to enhance it
- Demonstrate the coherent E-field control of magnetic exchange interaction in multi-qubit structures
